Coaching, Cabins, Packers & Tailgates (Feat. Ted Hanson)

Episode 135: This week, the show welcomes my uncle Ted to the program! As a younger sibling to my mother, he grew up playing sports, coaching high school football, and eventually retiring as a teacher from the great state of Wisconsin.

In today’s episode we’ll talk about everything from working at my grandfather’s Dairy Queen, to attending Packers football games and tailgating at Lambeau Field, and essentially building their lakeside cabin upstate -- from the ground up.

But we’ll also talk about the infamous bar brawl in Colorado, the time he nearly lost his speaking voice for good, and how narrowly escaped his own death on two separate occasions.
